European Events & Business Development Manager

 

Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Take a lead role in the planning and management of all events for the European region which consists of typically 2-3 intimate client appreciation events per year, 6 external conferences or Expos, and 1 annual customer conference.
  • Assist in business development team activities, including assisting in drafting sales materials, presentations, and proposals, and conducting introductory calls and presentations on our software services
  • Coordinate venues, catering, marketing materials and giveaways for events
  • Coordinate the logistics of stand and event kit shipping internationally
  • Work across the customer and business development teams in the UK, to create and share event invitations and acceptances, and provide input into digital promotion and engagement campaigns
  • Track and manage event budgets and approvals internally, liaising with the corporate marketing and finance teams, based in North America
  • Provide reporting on the impact / success of events and input into the European business growth strategy
  • Coordinate the planning, procurement and distribution of gifts to clients at Christmas


Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or related-field

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, team members, and clients.
  • Ability to work independently with strong initiative and collaboratively in a team environment when required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal competencies and presentation skills
