Description:

The Estates Manager role at Boots offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team that works closely with various departments to provide value through property management and commercial expertise. This role involves negotiating commercial terms with landlords, managing external advisors, and supporting the business in property transactions and lease obligations. Additional responsibilities include preparing the annual property budget, conducting lease renewals, and delivering measurable results for business projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate commercial terms with landlords for property management and rental transactions.
  • Manage external advisors to deliver projects on time and under budget.
  • Advise the business on lease obligations, dilapidations, and manage the sublet portfolio.
  • Assist with business projects and financial appraisals of property transactions.
  • Prepare and monitor the annual property budget.
  • Manage lease renewals and rent reviews.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Real Estate Management
  • Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
  • At least 5 years post-qualification experience
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial knowledge
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Results-focused with high integrity
