Autodesk Enterprise Named Accounts is looking for someone to join our direct Sales Team, working with the Account Director and Technical Sales Executive. The successful candidate will drive whitespace expansion aligned to the strategic outcomes agreed between the Customer and Autodesk to conclusion. This specialised role will be engaged with high-growth potential customers, developing detailed expansion plans and executing them to benefit all parties. We are looking for experienced sales professionals who can walk the line between autonomous actions and team alignment.
This role can be performed remotely or office based across EMEA. You will be reporting to the EMEA Senior Sales Manager focusing on customers in the AEC Infrastructure space
Key Responsibilities
- Exceed annual and multi-year targets, maximize individual consumption sales opportunities
- You work with the Account Director and the wider team, to identify, qualify, and close expansion within an assigned set of Named Accounts that link Autodesk's solutions to the customer's business goals
- You conduct whitespace expansion planning, ongoing business alignment, and ensure customer engagement across sales cycles
- You develop meaningful and lasting relationships within the account, including important Executives
- You translate customer's challenges and opportunities into unique value
- You develop key expansion plans to contribute to the Account Business plan and execute them
- You manage your pipeline and forecast for your assigned accounts within your focus area
- Execute Strong Business Practices including developing strong working relations across GEOs and functions (finance, operations, division, etc.)
- Effectively leverage chosen sales processes, tools, and methodologies
- Provide effective internal information as requested (i.e. Ops reviews, customer info., etc.)
- Growth Leadership through building and influencing a global/ virtual team (sales, support, and consulting)
- Enable our customers to make great products today and compete in the changing infrastructure landscape of the future
- Contribute to the broader Autodesk Team such as participating on core team, bringing new ideas into the business, and developing sales tools or new approaches
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of direct sales experience in large accounts with a record of sales attainment
- Relationship-based software experience selling to senior stakeholders
- Experience in AEC
- Motivated, determined, integrity-focused & business-oriented
- Must be willing to travel (~50%) to achieve sales objectives
- Business fluency in English and ideally additional European languages (Nordic or Dutch preferred)
