Enterprise Manager

• A background in setting up, developing, and solution seeking for small business/ social enterprises.
• Proven track record as a leader and motivator of teams
• Ideally, you will have some experience of working with people with a learning disability, autism or both.
• Experience working in a charity, voluntary or social care sector is desirable.
• Previous retail or ecommerce experience would be desirable.
• Someone who is organised and has excellent communication skills.
• Be confident in delivering presentations and reports to different stakeholders and be detailed orientated in your approach.
• A full driving licence is essential.

Your responsibilities:

• To work closely with the Farm Manager and Head of Department, towards a defined set of targets and KPIs.
• The growth of our care farm into an exciting destination for visitors, which will include:
  • An expansion of the existing farm shop and plant nursery /garden centre
  • Creation of a cafe at the farm
  • Some animal-based visitor attractions
  • Creating employment opportunities for people with a learning disability, autism or both.
• Build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including senior managers, trustees, commissioners, people we support and their families.
• Contribute to the creation of policies and procedures and be able to work with your teams to adopt these practices.
• To line manage the ground maintenance project, supporting the team to meet their financial targets.
• Review and develop business plans.
• Project manage the changes to the care farm.
