Description:

- Ideally, you will have some experience of working with people with a learning disability, autism or both.
- Experience working in a charity, voluntary or social care sector is desirable.
- Previous retail or ecommerce experience would be desirable.
- Someone who is organised and has excellent communication skills.
- Be confident in delivering presentations and reports to different stakeholders and be detailed orientated in your approach.
- A full driving licence is essential.
Your responsibilities:
- To work closely with the Farm Manager and Head of Department, towards a defined set of targets and KPIs.
- The growth of our care farm into an exciting destination for visitors, which will include:
- An expansion of the existing farm shop and plant nursery /garden centre
- Creation of a cafe at the farm
- Some animal-based visitor attractions
- Creating employment opportunities for people with a learning disability, autism or both.
- Build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including senior managers, trustees, commissioners, people we support and their families.
- Contribute to the creation of policies and procedures and be able to work with your teams to adopt these practices.
- To line manage the ground maintenance project, supporting the team to meet their financial targets.
- Review and develop business plans.
- Project manage the changes to the care farm.
