Enterprise Data Architect Housing Domain

 

Description:

The candidate with a strong background in data architecture, data modelling, and database design, with a focus on enterprise-level solutions. The Enterprise Data Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing data strategies that support the organization's business objectives and enable data-driven decision-making. Experience in housing domain will be an added advantage

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Data Architecture Design: Develop and maintain the organization's data architecture, ensuring that it supports current and future business needs. This includes defining data models, data flows, and data standards.

 

Data Integration and Management: Design and implement data integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow between systems. Develop data management policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

 

Data Governance and Compliance: Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Define data ownership, stewardship, and access controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

 

Metadata Management: Develop and maintain metadata repositories to provide a comprehensive view of the organization's data assets. Ensure that metadata is accurate, consistent, and up-to-date.

 

Data Security and Privacy: Collaborate with IT security teams to implement data security controls, encryption mechanisms, and access controls to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access or disclosure. Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulations.

 

Data Analytics and Reporting: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data analytics and reporting requirements. Design and implement data marts, data warehouses, and reporting solutions to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

 

Technology Evaluation and Selection: Evaluate new data technologies and tools to determine their suitability for the organization's needs. Make recommendations for technology adoption and develop implementation plans.

 

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data engineers, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver end-to-end data architecture solutions. Provide guidance and support to ensure successful implementation and adoption.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • of 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modelling, and database design.
  • knowledge of data management principles, practices, and technologies.
  • in data modelling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.
  • with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • understanding of data integration techniques and technologies (e.g., ETL, ELT, data virtualization).
  • with data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK, COBIT) and data security best practices.
  • certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, TOGAF Certified) are a plus.
  • with Azure Synapse, demonstrating a strong capability in managing and analyzing large data sets within the Azure cloud ecosystem.
