We are now hiring an Engineering Manager to lead and manage the maintenance & engineering functions across our Westbury & Maerdy sites. Key Responsibilities:

βœ”οΈ Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance & engineering team.
βœ”οΈ Foster a collaborative and motivated culture to ensure smooth operations.

βœ”οΈ Ensure efficient task delegation and optimal use of team skills.

βš™οΈ Engineering & Maintenance Management:
βœ”οΈ Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring all machinery & systems are fully functional.
βœ”οΈ Develop and implement a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) program to reduce downtime.
βœ”οΈ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
βœ”οΈ Work with Production Managers to align maintenance with production goals.

πŸ’° Capital Expenditure (Capex) & Project Management:
βœ”οΈ Lead Capex projects from planning & design to installation & commissioning.
βœ”οΈ Prepare and manage the annual Capex budget for engineering projects.
βœ”οΈ Oversee energy reduction initiatives and monitor energy efficiency.

βœ”οΈ Drive cost reduction initiatives in operations, resources, and manpower.
βœ”οΈ Improve efficiency and product quality through engineering innovation.

Requirements:

βœ”οΈ Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
βœ”οΈ Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, including:

  • Pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical distribution, DC/AC drives, & controls.

βœ”οΈ Proven experience leading engineering & maintenance teams.
βœ”οΈ Ability to manage complex Capex projects from concept to completion.
βœ”οΈ Strong organizational & problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize under pressure.
βœ”οΈ Solid knowledge of budgeting & commercial decision-making.
βœ”οΈ Excellent communication & interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
