We are now hiring an Engineering Manager to lead and manage the maintenance & engineering functions across our Westbury & Maerdy sites. π Team & Leadership:
βοΈ Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance & engineering team.
βοΈ Foster a collaborative and motivated culture to ensure smooth operations.

βοΈ Ensure efficient task delegation and optimal use of team skills.
βοΈ Engineering & Maintenance Management:
βοΈ Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring all machinery & systems are fully functional.
βοΈ Develop and implement a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) program to reduce downtime.
βοΈ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
βοΈ Work with Production Managers to align maintenance with production goals.
π° Capital Expenditure (Capex) & Project Management:
βοΈ Lead Capex projects from planning & design to installation & commissioning.
βοΈ Prepare and manage the annual Capex budget for engineering projects.
βοΈ Oversee energy reduction initiatives and monitor energy efficiency.
π Continuous Improvement & Cost Efficiency:
βοΈ Drive cost reduction initiatives in operations, resources, and manpower.
βοΈ Improve efficiency and product quality through engineering innovation.
βοΈ Support cross-functional problem-solving teams to enhance performance.
π Reporting & Compliance:
βοΈ Track and report maintenance KPIs, team performance, and budget adherence.
βοΈ Provide regular engineering updates to senior management.
βοΈ Maintain accurate documentation for maintenance, risk assessments, and projects.
π Qualifications:
βοΈ Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
βοΈ Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, including:
πΉ Skills & Experience:
βοΈ Proven experience leading engineering & maintenance teams.
βοΈ Ability to manage complex Capex projects from concept to completion.
βοΈ Strong organizational & problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize under pressure.
βοΈ Solid knowledge of budgeting & commercial decision-making.
βοΈ Excellent communication & interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.

π Support & deliver Capex projects in alignment with group-level strategies.
π Maintain & enhance engineering processes for efficiency & compliance.
π Ensure all engineering projects are delivered on time & within budget.
π Manage relationships with contractors & external partners.
π Drive a culture of safety & ethical engineering practices.
π Monitor & optimize energy usage & cost efficiencies.
