Engineer

Description:

We are looking for experienced Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Engineers to join our well established company in Northenden, Manchester. This is a permanent position subject to completion of a 12 week probationary period. The normal working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30, the successful candidate will be required to participate in a standby rota for call outs.

Skills required:

• Full Driving Licence for use within the UK
• Preferably based within the Manchester area
• Good Working Knowledge & Application of BS5839-1, BS5839-6, BS5266
• FIA qualifications (FIA Units or Foundation route)
• Fire Alarm Maintenance/Installation/Commissioning experience
• Emergency Lighting Maintenance/Installation experience
• Electrical Level 3 technical and vocational qualification or Level 3 Diploma
• Preference given to applicants that have completed the BAFE Fire Extinguisher Technician Diploma
• Leadership & Teamwork Qualities
• Effective Problem Solving, Decision Making & Communication
• Willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic
• Attention to detail
• Good Attendance Record
