Employability Tutor

Description:

We are looking for an Employability Tutor with experience of delivering vocational qualifications, supporting learners through their learning Journey to successfully achieve qualifications within Adult Skills.

Based at a training centre in Skelmersdale, the role of a Tutor will be supporting learners undertaking employability, vocational and functional skills qualifications, including Maths and English to fully achieve timely and successfully to a high standard. You will also be required to visit learners in their workplace in the surrounding area.

The role involves accredited delivery and assessment activities for several sectors, such as mental health awareness, understanding SEND, Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health, IAG, behaviours that challenge, safeguarding, digital skills, customer service and autism. If you have experience of any of the above, please apply! Qualification range is up to and including level 3.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: EMPLOYABILITY TUTOR

Skelmersdale based delivery to learners in a classroom environment

Working to quality standards and completion of targets

Assisting with the enrolment of learners and gaining referrals

Organising and maintaining documentation of learner's progress to a high standard
