Electrical Project Engineer

My client, an established contractor on multiple UK water authorities' frameworks across the the South is seeking to bolster their delivery team with a Electrical Project Engineer based in Essex.

The successful applicant will be required to lead MEICA elements of multi-million pound water industry projects through the stages of the project lifecycle from feasibility through to completion. Working closely water companies and principle contractors across multiple disciplines, the role will entail coordinating and managing Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation works through detail design, installation, and commissioning through to take over of the asset.

The successful applicant will ideally be degree or HNC/HND qualified in electrical and/ or instrument and control systems engineering and will have the necessary experience to be able to carry out the requirements of the role. Initiative, energy, enthusiasm, and keenness to learn are key qualities which are essential to the role.

Responsibility Summary

Leading Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation projects from concept through to completion

Assist with the development and review of Engineering designs

Management of subcontractors

Site supervision of onsite activities

Co-ordinate between key stakeholders and subcontractors to achieve a successful delivery

Management of commissioning activities

Production and management of commissioning documentation

Attending meetings with key stakeholders
