Description:
To maintain both electrical and instrumentation /measuring systems. This will provide reliable plant and equipment to both meet the manufacturing plan and satisfy the external regulators. The maintenance includes scheduled routine, corrective and breakdown Maintenance as well as plant modifications and plant reconfiguration.
In this role you will…
- Works as part of a team to install, test, commission and maintain electrical and instrumentation plant, apparatus, and cabling systems.
- Provision of maintenance and repair services for all electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Isolation and restoration of power supplies to plant and equipment for safe working
- Undertake instrumentation and electrical projects and plant modifications.
- Interpret electrical and instrumentation engineering drawings and manufacturers data to assist in maintenance activities.
- Install, test, commission and maintain distribution systems including medium voltage switchgear, standby generators, cabling and associated apparatus.
- Record data and complete documentation using good documentation practices to ensure accurate and traceable equipment history is available.
- Flexibility to embrace any future advancement in tools, techniques and working practices associated with the role after appropriate training.
- No tasks will be undertaken without supervision until suitably trained.
