Eit Project Manager

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support our Colleague Experience team. We support the entire business, not just IT, enabling us to open new office locations equipped with the latest technology or perhaps a new application for the group to consume.

You'll be part of a small team formed of both internal and external colleagues, based within the IT Group at Arm’s Headquarters in Cambridge, UK. However, Travel will be periodically required with your work as will be your attendance in our offices 2 days a week.

You will be strong leader with a can-do approach, quick to adapt to Arm’s culture. Your attention to detail, careful planning, risk management and monitoring, appreciation of the value of testing and ability to challenge IT colleagues as appropriate will enable you to maintain project momentum and engage our customers to deliver successfully. You will also have excellent vendor management skills and always drive what is best for Arm

You will leap out for this role if you have outstanding people management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
 

• Manage the project lifecycle of a complex infrastructure implementation from the initial set up and budgeting, including design, build, test and cutover/implementation in line with quality and time
• Drive project delivery through day to day engagement with IT teams and business customers
• Effectively communicate project status regularly and handle all raised concerns clearly and effectively
• Plan project budgets to a high degree of accuracy
   

Required Skills And Experience
 

• You will have demonstrable experience running large scale IT based infrastructure and software projects, leading the end to end delivery, integration of systems and services, and decommissioning of legacy assets
• You will also have a solid grasp of network design / transformation / troubleshooting as well as a great industry understanding
• You consider yourself and all an IT rounder and willing to take on new challenges
• You are adaptable, with the ability to flex your style and approach to meet the needs of the Business and the Project.
• You are a self-starter, able to work independently to meet assigned objectives
