Eica Commissioning Engineer

Description:

We are looking for a Commissioning engineer with an electrical background to work in the Severn Trent region. Previous experience of Clean, Wastewater or both is desirable but not essential, training can be provided for the right candidate.

You will be working on various capital investment projects within Water & Wastewater. Treatment Plant, Flood defence along with general design and build support throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Commissioning services including documentation, liaising with suppliers and facilitating contractor commissioning. Attend Factory Acceptance Testing and pre delivery inspections and assist the project team with project completions.

Work within the team of mechanical, EICA and process engineers to develop best practice, a strong health & safety environment and value for money.

Working on clean water projects will include Impounding and Service reservoirs, pumping stations, clarifiers, filters, chemical dosing, UV treatment, borehole etc

Wastewater projects incorporating new build and refurbishment on apparatus such as inlet works, course screens with screen handling units, grit separation & classifiers, fine screens, chemical dosing, dewatering & secondary treatment plant etc

Refurbishment and installation of new MCC’s, system integration, instrumentation, control equipment, low voltage switch gear and starters
