Handle are pleased to be working with one of the leading music labels in the world. They're seeking a driven Ecommerce Product Manager to help drive their merchandise product strategy. You will be working across the label and with artist management to develop exciting merchandise product ranges and deliver marketing strategies.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute effective e-commerce strategies for merchandise and music products, catering to a diverse array of frontline and catalogue artists.
  • Maintain a continuous e-commerce merchandise strategy for label artists, ensuring artist stores remain active beyond the typical album pre-order and release phases.
  • Oversee the label's supplier database, guaranteeing appropriate suppliers are in place for all merchandise needs.
  • Coordinate closely with the central e-CRM team, demand marketing, and media buying teams to seamlessly integrate e-commerce initiatives into all central marketing, CRM, and paid media endeavors.
  • Manage the print production workflow.
  • Collaborate with artists, label A&R, creative teams, the central design and print team, and third-party merchandisers to develop artist merchandise ranges.
  • When needed, negotiate and finalise e-commerce merchandise deals directly with artists, exploring opportunities with artists at all career stages.
  • Work with the central eCommerce team to launch product drops and store builds in accordance with e-commerce best practices.
  • Liaise closely with Label Marketing and CRM to optimise marketing efforts across all campaigns, ensuring effective product promotion within broader artist campaigns.
  • Develop and implement D2C merchandise calendars for artists on the label's roster, focusing on generating additional revenue and providing an exceptional customer experience to our fans.
  • Conduct research and manage relationships with new print suppliers.
  • Organise and facilitate regular production meetings for label marketing teams.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in e-commerce, particularly in apparel product development and merchandising, ideally within the music entertainment or fashion industry.
  • Proven ability to manage e-commerce brand portfolios, specifically in the development of always-on or evergreen merchandise ranges.
  • A genuine passion for music and fashion, particularly as they relate to merchandise.
  • Proficiency in managing production schedules and supporting design and creative teams in meeting merchandise printing deadlines.
  • Expertise in merchandise product development, collaborating with designers and printers to create merchandise ranges.
  • Strong knowledge of current printing techniques, including D2G, dye sublimation, cut and sew, and screen-printing processes.
  • Familiarity with blanks and suppliers in the music, fashion, and merchandise space.
  • Solid understanding of core e-commerce best practices, emphasising the creation of an exceptional fan experience.
  • Commercial and analytical approach to business, capable of achieving store revenue targets.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with third parties, proactively initiating and executing initiatives.
  • Strong grasp of performance marketing and utilising various marketing channels to drive e-commerce sales.
  • Experience in label or merchandise brand management.
