Description:
A powerhouse within the watch industry are looking for an E-Commerce Website Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. The client is based in Wokingham, but the role will mainly be remote.
Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and optimise website content, including landing pages, hero pages, images, videos, blog posts, forms and website hierarchy.
- Ensure that all content is engaging, SEO-friendly, and aligned with the brand's voice and guidelines.
- Continuously monitor the website's usability, navigation, and overall performance to enhance user experience.
- Identify and resolve user experience issues and optimise the website for mobile devices.
- Analyse data and generate reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect customer data and prevent fraudulent activities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and external agencies to implement SEO strategies and improve the website's search engine rankings.
- Conduct A/B testing for various website elements to improve conversion rates.
- Set standards, systems, best practices and company procedures for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance in conjunction and with support from all relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee the testing of new website functionality, delegating test journeys to relevant departments.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotional activities and marketing campaigns.
- Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
General Administration:
- Technical Troubleshooting: The administrator addresses technical issues related to the website, such as broken links, error messages, and site downtime. They may collaborate with developers or technical support teams to resolve these issues promptly.
- Market Research; keep up with the latest industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences. The administrator researches the market to identify new opportunities and best practices.
- Platform Updates and Integrations.
Experience/qualifications required:
- Good understanding of online ecommerce stores.
- Good technical understanding.
- Basic HTML and CSS knowledge.
