Key responsibilities in the position of E-commerce Director includes:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive eCommerce strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead the eCommerce team in optimizing online sales performance, user experience, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the eCommerce platforms, ensuring seamless integration with physical stores.
- Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, IT, and customer service, to drive cohesive and effective eCommerce initiatives.
- Manage budgets, set performance targets, and report on key eCommerce metrics and KPIs.
- Ensure the eCommerce platform is fully optimised for mobile, SEO, and conversion rate improvements.
- Lead the development and implementation of new digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer journey.
