Driver

Description:

About the role

  • This is a varied role, covering transport requirements both at and away from the Club.
  • As the person who welcomes our members on arrival at the airport or train station, our Club Drivers are literally the face of the Club - meeting and greeting guests with a smile and quick to offer a helping hand with luggage.
  • On the estate, drivers ferry guests to and from the various activities, lodge accommodation, Clubhouse and castle, both throughout the day and in the evenings pre and post dinner.
  • In addition to the on-site shuttle and airport transfers, our drivers also provide members and guests with half and full-day tours of the Highlands, with trips to local sightseeing spots or day trips to the West coast.
  • The department not only looks after the club's fleet of SUVs and MPVs, but also oversees the presentation and availability of our electric golf buggies, ensuring they are fully charged and ready for use at the castle, lodge accommodation and Clubhouse.
  • The Transport team provide help and support to other departments, including delivery of our evening take-out food service to members staying in the estate's lodges, golf bags to the Clubhouse and collection of guests from the Club's helicopter landing pad.
  • Drivers also support the Club's staff transport scheme by providing a collection and drop off service for team members at various locations in the local area.
  • As a key department in the day-to-day running of the Club, drivers will attend the twice-daily operational meetings to ensure clear communication with other teams.
