Dispute Resolution Solicitor

Due to the development of the Firm’s Dispute Resolution department, it is now looking to appoint an experienced Solicitor to work alongside its Housing Management team, providing top quality advice to a wide spectrum of clients in commercial, property and housing disputes.

The team provides advice to social landlords and local authority clients across the country, including tenancy enforcement following nuisance behaviour, criminal activity or anti-social behaviour and other issues to include defending disrepair claims and homelessness, among others.

The role includes, but not limited to, tasks such as producing court documents, attending hearings, negotiation, advising clients and supervision of junior colleagues.

The Candidate

• The ideal candidate will have substantial strength in advocacy, with the ability to work within tight deadlines.
• Client care skills are paramount, as the team work very closely with its clients, often being referred to an extension of their teams.
• Extensive experience in advocacy and/or litigation as well as being a qualified Solicitor or Barrister is essential.
• This role is open to all candidates regardless of PQE level.
• Any litigation background is considered, and may suit criminal or personal injury lawyers looking for a retrain or a change in direction.
• This role is open to all of the firm’s locations, with an emphasis on Manchester and Southampton
