About the role: As the charity continues its significant organisational growth, an exciting opportunity has emerged for an adept and experienced leader to propel them to the next phase. This pivotal role involves stabilising and enhancing our existing services whilst spearheading growth in strategic areas. The Director of Services and Development will provide strategic leadership, ensuring exceptional service delivery aligned with our mission and values. This role involves spearheading the development and execution of frontline services, campaigns, and fundraising efforts to secure significant funding for our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and Strategy: Lead the strategic development of frontline services, staying abreast of sector developments and legal landscapes. Drive fundraising plans to secure grants and contracts for service expansion.
• Management and Leadership: Provide strategic support, leadership, and oversight to all areas of service delivery and policy work. Work with the CEO to provide leadership, effective decision-making on crossorganisational issues, guidance, and support to the staff team. Work with the CEO to develop strategic plans that are operationalised within the portfolio.
• Finance and Fundraising: Oversee departmental budgets, securing funding through grants and government contracts. Establish and nurture key funding relationships.
• Service Development and Project Management: Ensure high standards across services, implementing quality assurance and robust monitoring processes.
• Policy: Lead policy development and brief Trust representatives on pertinent policy matters.
