CLA Global is a worldwide organization of independent accounting and advisory firms. CLA Global member firm professionals provide audit, accounting, tax, and advisory services to help guide organizations and individuals through the increasingly complex global business and financial environment. The organization has grown rapidly since its inception in 2022 and is now at a stage where a full-time individual is required to join the Global Office to ensure all aspects relating to People and Culture are delivered in an efficient and effective manner.

 

Responsibilities:

Global Mobility and Secondments:

  • Support member firm leaders in the design, development, and coordination of a comprehensive global approach to employee mobility and secondment opportunities.
  • Establish policies and processes to facilitate smooth transitions for employees moving across international locations.
  • Track progress, outcomes and satisfaction in relation to the programme.

 

Learning and Development Strategy:

  • Lead the development of a global learning and development strategy, working with our member firms.
  • In the short term, consider phase 1 of the strategy including the development of 2-3 signature programs such as:
  • A Global Leadership Program aimed at nurturing future leaders within the global organization.
  • A New Managers Program designed to equip new managers with essential skills and knowledge.
  • A Technical Updates program to ensure employees stay current with industry developments.
  • Determine the optimal balance between new development and adapting existing assets within the network.
  • Track progress, outcomes and satisfaction in relation to the programmes.

 

Defining Global Culture and Values:

  • Collaborate with leadership and employees to define, articulate, and promote CLA Global’s culture and core values.

 

Societal and Community Impact:

  • Working with member firms to develop and implement a CLA Global approach to societal and community impact.

 

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work with the People and Culture Committee and its Chair to achieve the strategic goals relating to People and Culture.
  • Prepare reports to the International Board summarising progress on the strategic goals.

Required knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience, working preferably within an international professional services environment.
  • Experience in the design, development, and coordination of a global employee mobility and secondment programme.
  • Experience of designing and providing learning and development resources across multiple channels, including in person and virtual learning tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current techniques and procedures used in the design and development of technical programmes and courses.
  • Strong organization and management skills to proactively manage and prioritize course development activities for multiple tasks.
  • Ability to develop project plans showing scope, timelines, resource requirements and constraints/risks.
  • Ability to define, articulate, and promote a global organisation’s culture and core values.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and influence people at all levels.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for people and culture within an organisation.
  • Comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to think commercially and apply knowledge pragmatically.
  • Excellent English language written and oral communication skills.
