Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Director of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive the strategic direction of the TickX brand and its position in the industry as marketing technology specialist.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies within the events and experience economy, in a B2B / SaaS environment.
This role requires a collaborative, strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can propel our company to new heights.
Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, best showcase our unique value proposition, generate leads, and drive revenue growth within the events, attractions and experiences sectors.
- Collaborate with the management team to align marketing initiatives with overall business goals and objectives.
Brand Management:
- Define and maintain a strong brand identity that resonates with our target audience.
- Oversee the development of marketing collateral, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
Digital Marketing:
- Developing a strategy for and implementing online campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Analyze and optimize digital marketing performance to maximize ROI.
CRM & Content Development:
- Build out a CRM strategy and drive the creation of compelling and relevant content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and other resources, to position the company as a thought leader in the industry.
Event Marketing:
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective event marketing strategies, ensuring a strong presence at key industry conferences, trade shows, and virtual events.
Product Launches:
- Work closely with the product team to plan and execute successful product launches, ensuring effective communication of product features and benefits to the target audience.
Market Research:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform marketing strategies and identify new business opportunities.
Your Experience
- B2B marketing experience within the events, attractions, experiences and / or travel industry
- Strong understanding of marketing technology, advertising platforms, and latest marketing trends.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- NB - This will be a hands on role initially but will require working closely with multiple teams including Sales, Customer Success and Product. It will also require managing third party contractors / agencies and hiring and leading a team as we scale the marketing function.
