Are you a proven land acquisition professional looking to work for a privately owned developer where you'll be given the freedom to run the team and do deals?

We are working with a privately owned house builder and property developer that is looking to appoint a Land Director to lead the team in securing land and development opportunities across the South Mids, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire area.

You will be an established Senior Land Manager, Head of Land or Land Director who has a demonstrable track record of sourcing and securing sites in the region. You will be a natural deal maker that brings an extensive network of agents and land owners

You will report into the Managing Director. You might be currently working for a plc house builder and yearn for a more dynamic environment or you could be working at another privately owned developer but are keen to make a move.

Salary is flexible for the right person, there will be a bonus and profit share on offer. Personality fit and a proven track record of securing sites is key.

Key requirements

• Established land professional with 7 years + industry experience
• Demonstrable track record of sourcing and buying sites in the region
• Currently working for either a national residential developer, privately owned developer or high profile investor or agency.
• Detailed understanding of the planning application and appeals process.
• A strong network of contacts in the land agency world.
• Determined, hungry and ambitious.
