Position: Director of Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering
Locations considered: London, Glasgow, Barcelona, Copenhagen & Montreal
What You’ll Do:
- The role is split into 60% people management and 40% technical.
- Leadership & Strategy: Lead the Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering team, developing and executing strategies that align with RES’s business goals and technological vision.
- Cloud Transformation: Drive the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve and innovate our infrastructure and cloud capabilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and operations, to deliver high-quality solutions and support our growth initiatives.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of our infrastructure and cloud services, implementing best practices and proactive measures.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Proven experience in a senior infrastructure or cloud engineering role, with a strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Leadership: Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of infrastructure technologies, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies that align with business objectives.
- Problem Solver: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
