Description:
We are recruiting a Business Development Director on behalf of our client, a leading chemistry drug discovery platform. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in pharmaceutical business development and a track record of success in strategic alliance management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
- Identify and prioritize strategic partnership opportunities within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
- Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders to negotiate and structure partnerships and licensing agreements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of business initiatives.
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Chemistry is preferred, Bio-chemistry can be considered
- Minimum 8 years of business development experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Strong understanding of drug discovery processes and preclinical development.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing strategic partnerships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation in healthcare.
