Description:
Reporting to the SVP, Integrated Marketing, Entertainment - EMEA, the Director, Digital Marketing will manage brand marketing efforts for key Entertainment brands in the EMEA region with a focus on digital marketing for David Beckham brand & Iconic Images. You’ll leverage innovative planning, strategy, and collaboration to build and evolve these brands to breakthrough initiatives in global markets and digital channels ). You’ll collaborate with peer groups to ensure strong project management and cohesion across and between Brand, Business Development, Creative, Social and Comms teams to build and execute 360-degree, integrated marketing plans and projects with a strong social / digital component.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Formulate and implement social media and digital marketing plans to achieve brand/business goals and annual financial targets for 1) David Beckham projects/partners as applicable and 2) Iconic Images / other Entertainment brands.
- Execute and manage implementation of 360-degree brand marketing and digital/social initiatives that drive David Beckham and Iconic Images brand awareness (including campaign activations, creative asset development, and digital components).
- Drive marketing initiatives to grow e-commerce channel for Iconic Images
- Drive marketing / strategic rationale and implementation for e-commerce / monetisation of David Beckham projects / partners
- Drive planning and execution of new content strategies that drive brand relevance and engage consumers.
- Manage consistent, ongoing communication with both internal and external stakeholders ensuring activation plans, execution timelines, deliverables, and accountabilities are clear and aligned with the business.
- Participate in brand strategy discussions and planning; analyse consumer trends and market data, identify brand growth opportunities.
- Working with the SVP, Integrated Marketing, plan and execute annual Brand Summits for the brand to present annual brand strategy, marketing plans and activations to key stakeholders
- Report findings on research related to brand performance and opportunities; incorporate into future strategy. Source content inspiration and track competitors’ initiatives.
- With the Social Media Senior Manager, oversee (and execute when required) social content calendars to optimise posting schedules and engagement opportunities for brands.
- Oversee ( / undertake as required) community management across platforms.
- Plan and manage influencer campaigns
- Working both organically and within a given budget, lead execution of influencer and content marketing campaigns to promote across digital / social platforms.
- Compile and interpret analytics reporting across owned brands.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic gifting and seeding programs as required.
Must Haves
A minimum of 8+ years of experience in brand marketing, with expertise in digital marketing; celebrity brand management is required as is expertise in e-commerce marketing, digital and social media
- Proven track record in creating and executing digital & social marketing campaigns, including campaign concept ideation and social media deployment.
- Demonstrated success conducting and incorporating detailed analyses into marketing planning and decision making.
- Seamless communication skills with strong in-room presentation capabilities.
- Must have strong computer proficiency with strength in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Keynote, and deep understanding of all global social media platforms.
- Willingness and ability to travel as the role requires.
