Directors are integral members of the Guidehouse consulting team. Our Life Sciences Directors are responsible for project and team leadership, client relationship management and business development. Directors are responsible for contributing to the Life Sciences practice development, thought leadership, brand building and solution development
Responsibilities Include
- Drive profitable growth for the Life Sciences team
- Lead global Life Sciences projects on behalf of a broad set of clients
- Oversee project delivery teams and ensure quality of client deliverables
- Provide insight and guidance to project teams to drive maximum project value for clients
- Establish and enhance client relationships to position Guidehouse as a consultancy of choice
- Provide consistent leadership to Life Sciences team members including providing real time feedback and investment in the team members development and progression
- Serve as a role model for the Life Sciences team demonstrating high performance, strong business discipline and compliance with required activities
- Develop relevant perspectives on the industry and develop and present thought leadership to Life Sciences clients
- Coach and share knowledge with Life Sciences team members and drive engagement with the overall Life Sciences team
- Lead Life Sciences practice development activities and firm-wide development initiatives
- Drive Life Sciences business development efforts including proposal development and client relationships
- Conduct personal and company brand building to drive greater awareness of Guidehouse’s services and capabilities
- Lead business development for designated key and named accounts and develop senior level relationships within targeted accounts
- Develop and implement innovative solution development to contribute sustainable, profitable growth
- Identify and develop cross-firm and Advanced Solution opportunities for Life Sciences clients

What You Will Need
- Ten plus years of Life Sciences commercial strategy and operations consulting experience OR industry experience in relevant functions such as portfolio strategy, market access, launch and lifecycle management, and commercial operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills and team building capabilities
- Demonstrated strategic consulting capabilities including problem solving and idea generation
- Demonstrated business development skills and enduring client relationships
- Demonstrated thought leadership development and relevant subject matter expertise
- Demonstrated track record of profitable growth across clients
- Demonstrated solution development and execution skills in relevant content areas
- Demonstrated project management experience and successful delivery of project outcomes
- Demonstrated team leadership including actively assessing team performance and providing real time feedback to ensure full contribution of the team to the project
- Demonstrated team management including coaching and mentoring junior team members
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex business issues succinctly and with impact
- Demonstrated ability to think critically, with a strong eye for detail, and a creative approach to problem solving
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organisation
