- Responsible for project delivery of multi-threaded, large scale deliveries. Ensuring each project is delivered, within the defined governance process, with control and to the expectations of key stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on progress through all stages of delivery, from definition to transition to live operations
- Create and maintain a well-structured, professional project environment for your project teams
- Manage the successful delivery of projects on time, to budget and of the right quality using in line with the standard project management methodology
- Manage expectations of key stakeholders throughout the life cycle of projects - effective communication is key!
- Provide senior management with fully impacted solution options to complex project issues in order to drive timely decision-making.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks; and monitor and drive the resolution of issues
- Manage cross project dependencies to mitigate risk to the Society.
- Maintain control of the Project scope through an effective change control process, consulting with key stakeholders as necessary
- Provide strong leadership to project resources, framework partners and consultants, defining work, ensuring deadlines are understood and adhered to and that project objectives are clearly articulated and understood.
- Proven successful delivery of complex enterprise wide change management projects
- A proven ability to influence, motivate and empower others in order to reach organisational goals, with strong negotiation skills.
- A self starter who can work with a high degree of accuracy and very good attention to detail
- Proven experience in project management approaches, risk management and the delivery of digital transformational change in complex stakeholder environments.
- Planning, action orientation & results driven – organises and prioritises work, with a clear readiness to make decisions where appropriate, or escalate issues and concerns through proper channels.
- A logical approach to overcoming stumbling blocks that may present themselves throughout the project lifecycle
- Substantial project management experience including running projects for multiple business functions,in a multi disciplined environment.
- An authentic and engaging communicator you will have extensive experience of stakeholder management, identifying, addressing and resolving differences between individuals and/or interest groups
- Certification in an industry standard project/programme management methodology such as (MSP, Prince 2 or similar)
