I am working with a truly unique - cyber security specialist company that is looking for a DFIR consultant to come in and make this role their own.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct digital forensic investigations to identify and analyze security incidents and breaches.
  • Collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence from various sources, including computers, mobile devices, and network logs.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their unique challenges and provide tailored DFIR solutions.
  • Develop incident response plans and strategies to mitigate future security risks.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in digital forensics and incident response, including the use of industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, network protocols, and operating systems.
  • Professional certifications such as EnCE, GCFE, GCFA, or similar are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
