Devops Engineer

Uneek is seeking a skilled Mid-Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, and Terraform to join their growing team in Bolton, UK. Reporting directly to the DevOps Manager, you will be instrumental in designing and managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and enhancing CI/CD processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), primarily with Terraform.

• Work extensively with containerisation and microservice architectures, including Kubernetes.

• Build and deploy scalable cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Develop automation tools and applications in Python, Go, or Java.

• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and GitOps (e.g., ArgoCD).

• Automate tasks and improve workflows using Linux Shell scripting.

• Manage cloud services such as AWS EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, Networks, Athena, and CloudWatch.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.

• Strong experience in Kubernetes and containerised environments.

• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.

• Experience in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and GitOps.

• Familiarity with AWS services including EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, Networks, Athena, and CloudWatch.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to £65,000 plus benefits.

• Hybrid Work: 1-2 days per week in the Bolton office.
