If you answered yes to these questions, we have an exciting opportunity to join Nottinghamshire County Council ICT Applications team as an ICT DevOps Engineer.

As an ICT DevOps Engineer, you will be involved in the full development life cycle of various applications and systems, from design and development to testing and deployment. You will work with a range of technologies and platforms, such as SAP, Azure, Microsoft365, CRM, GIS, and more. You will collaborate with other developers, analysts, testers, project managers, business product owners/stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet the business needs and expectations. You will also provide support and maintenance for existing applications, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and efficient.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Educated to at least GCE A level, SQA Highers or equivalent standard or can demonstrate relevant recent experience.
• At least three years of experience in software development, preferably in a DevOps environment.
• Expertise in Power Apps/Auto creation and management, ASP.net core, C#, jQuery, Bootstrap, Knowledge of SQL, Python, Security by Design, and Problem solving.
• Experience in working with cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
