The Role
- Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to define cloud architecture best practices and provide guidance on cloud-related issues.
- Automate deployment, configuration, and management tasks using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, or other automation tools
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps practices for cloud-based applications.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and services, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage identity and access management in Azure, including Azure Active Directory and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Implement security policies, firewalls, and network security groups to safeguard cloud resources.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Stay up-to-date with Azure services, features, and best practices, incorporating new technologies into our cloud infrastructure as appropriate.
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and or external partners, assisting them with cloud-related inquiries and challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Demonstrated track record of designing, implementing, and overseeing Azure cloud solutions in a professional setting.
- Robust comprehension of Azure services, encompassing but not limited to Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Proficient in scripting and automation utilizing PowerShell, Bash, or other applicable tools.
- Practical experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of networking concepts, security, and Azure's best practices.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
