Device Manager

Description:

Device Manager is required for a FX Trading House based in London City. The firm is a global expert in currency risk management and alternative banking for businesses and financial institutions. Trading and executing on behalf of clients, providing tailored solutions, as well as their own internal trading desks.

As the IT Device Manager this role will require solid demonstrable Device Management experience in delivering productive, effective and secure IT device (laptop, desktop, tablet, mobile) and solutions to various stakeholders across different departments/regions

As the IT Device manager, you will have the skills to manage and update latest trend of devices, MDM, MAM and estimate the impact to employee’s productivities and company’s security. Explaining, demonstrating and encouraging adoption of the standardize the device and its image.

Being the IT Device Manager, your role will be to create the firms Device and Tools strategy aligned with business strategy for mid/long term for providing productive digital work force

• Plan the cost-effective delivery model and device lifecycle management of new and/or replacing devices for mid/long term and manage this with flexible mindset.
• Plan and execute a model for delivery of productivity and collaboration through well configured and maintained IT devices in the FX trading House with Front office and Corporate staff.
• Plan and create the secure and safe Devices images, being mindful of cyber and data security

Key skills needed for the Device Manager role

• Proven track record working as an IT Infrastructure Device Manager in mid-scale organizations
• Basic management skills and knowledge about devices and tools and thier lifecycle
• Basic troubleshooting and improvement skills about device and tools.
• Proactive, self-sufficient and driven with a hands-on ‘can do’ collaborative mindset
• Attention to detail, analytical, organised, methodical/structured approach to tasks/objectives
• Dell laptop, desktop, mobile (iOS/Android), tablet, VDI, related peripherals
