Developments Finance Director

Description:

As the leader of a team of up to 15 professionals, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our project portfolio valued at approximately £1.5 billion. Your mission is to develop and implement the financial strategy for Developments Finance at Merlin, ensuring finance is central to project success.

Innovation and continuous improvement will be your driving force, as you foster internal and external connections to gauge market dynamics and customer sentiment. You'll also be instrumental in recruiting top-tier talent and nurturing their career growth.

About You...
 

• You are a strong Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• You will have extensive experience within a Finance role focussed on business partnering
• You will have experience of leading teams and driving a continuous improvement agenda
• You will have experience providing financial support that drives commercial decisions
• You have excellent analytical ability, with a good attention to detail
• You can demonstrate effective communication skills with the ability to present plans to support business decisions, to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• You will want to be part of a team that delivers operational excellence at all times, and heavily contribute to its success
• You will have strong senior stakeholder management
• Previous roles such as Finance Director/Head of Finance, etc, will be hugely beneficial
