Description:
Bosena are hiring a Development Executive to work on our rich and diverse slate of Film & HETV projects. They will work alongside, and report to the CEO, supporting a number of existing Feature Film and HETV Drama series as well as sourcing and developing new projects for the slate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To understand and communicate the Bosena brand and the needs of the company.
- To manage the progression of Film & TV projects on the Bosena development slate.
- To embed the Bosena Ecosophical Principles of Production in the development process.
- To maintain regular communication with key creatives on projects and to foster an environment whereby the creative process can flourish.
- To use extensive storytelling skills to impact positively on the development process and ensure every script is the best it can possibly be.
- To lead on the development and editorial feedback of projects, compiling development notes for writers and creative teams and running development sessions with talent.
- To maintain clear and regular communication with the CEO/Exec producers, running regular Development Meetings with the Bosena team to update and check in on projects.
- To liaise and communicate effectively with commissioners/financiers/broadcasters throughout the development of projects.
- To seek out new ideas, talent, and IP to bring to the slate.
- To lead in developing new ideas and building trusting relationships with talent.
- To develop outlines, treatments, and pitch decks.
- To pitch ideas and to support Execs in pitching ideas to commissioners.
- To ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes of practice.
