We are looking for an experienced Development Consultant to join our passionate, dedicated and future-focused team of development consultants. This is an exciting opportunity to support, develop and coach managers across our qualification programmes nationwide.
Job Purpose:
To play a key part in achieving Aspire’s business plan, by providing outstanding interventions to client organisations that develop their people and their business. The focus of the role will be to support cohorts of junior and middle managers to develop their management and leadership skills through a mix of delivery, coaching and qualification support.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering training programmes to client organisations, ensuring that learning objectives and business outcomes are met.
- Designing and developing bespoke interventions that will engage, challenge and support the individual leaders as well as meet the aims of the client organisation.
- Managing learners through their programme, end to end, from enrolment to achievement.
- Building and managing relationships with clients to develop a partnership working approach.
- Active involvement in projects to continually improve Aspire’s offer and working practices.
- Involvement in the writing of business tenders, proposals, pitches and meetings as required.
About you
The job holder will be expected to have a strong work ethic, will work within the spirit of the organisational values and culture, and will be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent skills in all aspects of training design, development, delivery and coaching including face to face, virtual and digital
- Experience of the full training cycle, including consultation, scoping of need, design, delivery and evaluation to demonstrate impact and return on investment
- Ability to use a range of psychometric tools, leadership and OD models and frameworks, and NLP principles within coaching and training environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and clients alike and able to think creatively and find new ways to meet ongoing client requirements.
- Flexible and adaptable with a positive outlook and a desire to improve personal and business performance, taking a solution-focused approach.
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation, with the ability to get things done using own initiative and without close supervision.
- An ethos of continuous improvement, proactively identifying and acting upon opportunities for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Qualification in leadership/ management/coaching and experience in a senior management role.
- Strong written English skills, with both maths and English Level 2 qualifications (GCSE C or 4 and above, or Level 2 Functional Skills) to support apprenticeships.
