Description:
The purpose of the Development & Digital Learning Lead role is to manage and enhance our digital learning offerings, particularly focusing on Learning Management System (LMS) management, e-learning program development, and ensuring the effective evaluation and reporting of learning outcomes.
What you’ll be doing as the Development & Digital Learning Lead:
- Ensuring the maintenance, development, and enhancement of our LMS while also overseeing the helpdesk.
- Maintain, develop, and improve LMS; ensure course pages are up to date with engaging content, create and maintain system processes, resolve, or escalate technical issues, and review new possibilities.
- Providing e-learning and technology expertise to our Learning Academy Teams in developing learning and development strategies.
- Supporting the creation, delivery, and evaluation of e-learning activities from inception to quality assurance.
- Lead and manage the programme of e-learning content development to ensure agreed deadlines are met for content applicable to all business areas when required.
- Working with suppliers to assess and acquire course materials, software, and teaching tools, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance standards and SLAs.
To qualify for the role of Development & Digital Learning Lead, you will need to be:
- Proficient in adult learning principles and training design with demonstrated expertise in developing E-Learning courses utilising authoring tools like Articulate and Captivate.
- Skilled in overseeing Totara/Moodle-based LMS management and proficient in developing and delivering IT and systems learning solutions.
- Proficient in MS Office tools, particularly Excel for tracking, reporting, and data analysis, and possess a foundational understanding of web standards, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
