Description:

We are seeking a versatile developer with a wide skill set encompassing frontend and backend development, payment gateway integration, quality assurance, and technical experience in scaling platforms. The primary focus of this role will be to rework the Hopper platform to cater specifically to the Financial Services Pensions industry, with the intention of expanding these changes across all relevant sectors. While initially an equity-based opportunity, successful implementation of these changes is expected to lead to revenue traction, enabling the transition to a monthly retainer model in addition to equity compensation. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, proactive, and available for a minimum of 1-2 days per week. You will be supported by the newly appointed CEO and the co-founders of the business. This is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Redesign and rework the Hopper platform to meet the specific needs of the Financial Services / Pensions industry.

2. Implement backend payment gateway integration and frontend development to enhance platform functionality.

3. Conduct rigorous quality assurance testing to ensure technical integrity and content consistency.

4. Apply technical expertise in scaling platforms to accommodate increased demand and usage.

5. Transition the platform from a "managed service" offering to a Software as a Service (SaaS) setup.

6. Collaborate with the CEO and co-founders to develop and execute strategies for growth within the financial services sector.

7. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for platform enhancements and updates.
