We're looking for an experienced graphic designer (equivalent midweight to senior) to join our Communications Team on a fixed-term contract (maternity cover), creating engaging designs for our range of services, products and activities.We support more than 70 services and lead on internal and external communications, such as our intranet, website, digital and print resources, leaflets, events, films, animation, media/press, campaigns and reputation management.

Main duties of the job
The challenges come thick and fast in this role. It's a fast-paced environment and no two days are the same. You will work with the Communications Team for internal and external clients to develop, create and evaluate communications campaigns for patients, colleagues and the public. You'll be working within and developing existing brand identities and you'll have the experience, skills and confidence to create and present new ideas.Good people skills are essential, with the ability to manage your own workload and turn around work against very tight deadlines. You will need an advanced understanding of production and print processes. You'll be able to use the Adobe Creative Cloud package and MS Office to a extremely high-standard to create materials in a range of formats for use across digital and print.During the pandemic, we increasingly moved to digital communications. You will input into projects using your expertise, to take us to the next level of exciting content.You will need to multi-task in a pressured work environment, prioritising your own workload, including complex projects.
