Description:
Arm’s Systems Development team creates subsystems and SoC designs for various application segments, using the latest IP products from Arm and other vendors. We are looking for creative and enthusiastic SoC Design Engineers to join the team. As a member of the design team, you will be involved in the specification, design and verification of various compute subsystems in these products.
Responsibilities
Design engineers are required to have in-depth understanding across all the elements that contribute to the products’ successful delivery. Your key responsibilities will include writing micro-architecture specifications, developing the RTL and running various design checks. Additionally, you will work with the verification team to review test plans and help debug design issues and the implementation team to optimise those designs.
Required Skills And Experience
Experience of RTL design for complex SoC development using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog
Experience or knowledge in the following areas Static design checks, Synthesis and timing analysis, Power management techniques, Power and Clock domain crossing
An understanding of the fundamentals of computer architecture and systems and practical experience of working on Processor based system designs
Knowledge of shell programming/scripting (g. TCL, Perl, Python etc.)
“Nice To Have” Skills And Experience
Experience with Arm-based designs and/or Arm System Architectures
Experience developing and integrating subsystems for PCIe, UCIe, DDR/LPDDR/HBM, Ethernet etc.
High level programming experience such as C/C++ and/or assembly language programming
Experience in embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor and embedded system hardware architectures.
