Design Engineer

Description:

We are currently partnered with a global leader in the semiconductor industry looking to expand their team in the UK with an experienced Design Engineer. In this role, you will be working as part of their CPU group working on the innovation and development of next-generation microprocessors.

Key Responsibilities for this Design Engineer position:

• Actively contribute to all phases of the design flow and take ownership for part of CPU micro-architecture
• Define and implement hardware design
• Write and review design and verification documents
• Plan and track design tasks to meet required timelines

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.
• Extensive expereince in RTL design with strong programming skills in System Verilog, Verilog, or VHDL.
• Previous expereince working on, and strong technical understanding of, computer architecture.
• Strong working knowledge of SVAs and proven track record working on microprocessor designs.
• Expereince working with CPU/GPU technology is highly beneficial.
