Degree Apprenticeships Compliance Officer

 

Description:

The University of Warwick is seeking a Degree Apprenticeships Compliance Officer to join the Work-Based & Professional Learning Team within the Flexible & Online Learning Division. This is a permanent, full-time role, ideal for individuals with expertise in apprenticeship compliance. You will work alongside Programme Managers, the Head of Work-Based & Professional Learning, and other university departments to ensure Degree Apprenticeship programmes comply with statutory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collating and maintaining accurate apprentice data.
  • Leading audits (including those by the Education and Skills Funding Agency).
  • Developing a compliance culture and risk management framework across the university.
  • Providing audit-ready management of data for statutory compliance.
  • Supporting the Programme Managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

About the Department:

The Work-Based & Professional Learning Team supports alternative pathways into higher education across the university. You’ll work closely with university departments and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislative obligations regarding Degree Apprenticeships. The department has a flexible approach to hybrid working, with a requirement to be on campus at least twice a week.
