Key Responsibilities:
- Build and implement machine learning models and statistical tools to solve complex business challenges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to deliver data-driven insights and solutions.
- Develop tools and scripts for predictive modelling and machine learning applications.
- Integrate both internal and external data sources to improve the accuracy of models and the impact on the business.
- Communicate technical findings and methodologies to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Stay current with advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI to continuously improve solutions.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
Essential Criteria:
- 3+ years of experience in a data science role, applying methods like Gradient Boosting Machines (GBMs), deep learning, GLMs, or graph mining.
- Degree (2:1 or higher) in mathematics, computer science, statistics, physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, R, or equivalent languages.
- Proficiency with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, Spark, or scikit-learn.
- Experience handling large datasets using SQL, NoSQL, or big data platforms like Hadoop.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and solve complex problems effectively.
