Description:
Mizuho is seeking a Data & MI Analyst to support the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Team in data collection, processing, validation, and visualization to enhance operational and strategic decision-making. This role involves managing data integrity, developing dashboards, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and FCA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and validate large datasets from various sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visualization tools to support operational needs.
- Assist in building and maintaining a reporting infrastructure for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill data needs.
- Conduct ad hoc investigations into data issues and communicate resolutions.
- Identify and implement process improvements for data handling.
- Ensure procedures and documentation are up to date.
- Manage the Data & MI mailbox, responding to queries efficiently.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and contribute to projects as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Financial Services, AML/KYC legislation, and FCA regulations.
- Experience with data analysis using tools and programming languages.
- Proficiency in visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Ability to handle large datasets with accuracy and integrity.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate, support change, and problem-solve.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Language skills are an asset; Japanese speaker preferred.
