Responsibilities include:

 

  • Formulate, communicate, and drive a capability roadmap for Analytics, Machine Learning & AI
  • Define and deliver a framework, linked to the wider corporate governance, with appropriate guardrails and controls, adapting to risks and threats of a constantly changing landscape.
  • Lead and facilitate innovation sessions, proof of concepts to drive opportunities to unlock value, working alongside engineering teams to build robust, scalable, and reusable assets.
  • Create synergies and common practices across the user base to drive efficiencies and cross-functional insights. Use analysis to identify patterns, trends, anomalies which may not be as visible in single use cases.
  • Engage with stakeholders to learn about our customers, business products, services, channels, and back-office, building a level of understanding to match the relevant use of solutions and techniques.
  • Coach a wide range of users to improve their understanding of techniques, delivering learning sessions and increase adoption.
  • Produce clear documentation and explain-ability to evidence ethical and regulatory compliance.

 


About You:
 

  • Proven experience with MSc or PhD in a Data Science related field, demonstrating a clear understanding of application of AI and ML techniques.
  • Knowledge across NLPs and LLMs, deep learning and ability to experiment/test and learn though a variety of solutions and data products.
  • Grounded knowledge in ‘black box’ regulatory and legislative requirements, including ethical data governance with the ability to interpret and apply judgement at an enterprise risk level.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to lead by influence and advocate for change across multi-disciplined teams.
  • Ability to convey complex technical messages in business language, both written and verbal communications.
  • Highly skilled in Interpretation and explain-ability from business idea through to implementation.
  • Coaching and mentoring key individuals to support projects and developing others.
