Data Engineer

Xcede are excited to be partnering with an exciting Consultancy Start Up working mainly in the Retail space. They are looking to hire a Data Engineer to take lead on their business critical projects.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for scaling a delivery planning optimisation system in a GCP environment. You will be the main referent for all things Data Engineering, so we are looking for someone who is a self-starter with demonstrated experience.

Key skills/experience required:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 4-6 years' experience as a Data Engineer
• Extensive Python coding experience
• Strong experience working in a cloud environment (GCP)
• Solid skills with modern data stack and related techniques
• Good understanding of Dev Ops principles
• Some experience with ML Ops would be nice to have
• Ability to work independently and own all aspects of a project
• Passionate about building scalable systems
