Profile Summary
To support the Mizuho CLM Team lead of Data and MI in the production and maintenance of the Data & MI function including a visualization platform. Adherence to all SLA’s and procedures for MHI, London & EMEA Branches. To manage the control of Data and MI in line with Internal Procedures/FCA regulations.
Duties And Responsibilities
- The ability to collect, process and validate data from various sources and create, maintain and update dashboards and visualisation tools to support operational and strategic goals.
- Ability to collect, process and validate large data sets from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy and present the data in a clear concise manner.
- Develop and maintain a reporting infrastructure to allow stakeholders access to their relevant population.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements / improvements and recommend changes.
- Collaborate with cross–functional teams and develop a working relationship to ensure we understand their data needs.
- Ensure procedures for Data and MI management are adequate / maintained and up to date.
- Pro-active management of the Data and MI mailbox, ensuring all items are responded to / actioned in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct Ad – Hoc analysis as required and assist with other projects where necessary.
Qualifications, Skills And Experience
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Financial Services and AML/KYC legislation and related regulations. Awareness of future changes and how these may impact the team
- Experience with data analysis using tools and programming languages
- Experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI / tableau
- Experience approx. 5 years in data analysis with the ability to handle large data sets.
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and client service orientation.
- Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks with good organisational and time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrable ability to innovate, support change and problem solve
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
- Language skills are an asset, Japanese speaker preferred
