Description:
You will support the Council’s reception and Contact Centre. You will have an interest in developing an all-round knowledge of the Council and its services whilst aiming to resolve all enquiries at the first point of contact. You will actively promote Broxbourne Council’s digital first message and assist customers to self-serve wherever possible.
Candidates must have GCSE qualifications in Maths and English or equivalent, have excellent communication skills, be computer literate, and feel confident using multiple data sources to fact find and offer resolution. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public, in multiple settings and provide advice in fluent English is essential in the role.
The successful candidate will typically work office hours Monday-Friday with a flexible working approach combining office and home working. This post is to cover the following hours; Monday 4 hours (am) Tuesday 8 hours, Thursday 4 hours (am) and Friday 4 hours (pm) When in the office, you will be based at Bishops’ College in Cheshunt.
