Building strong relationships with our key strategic customers relies on a team approach to providing a range of customer specific data and insights, strong awareness of pricing and stock issues and negotiation at a range of levels.

Reporting into the Customer Controller, this Customer Development Manager role works as part of a team and has full P&L responsibility for a key customerThis will give you commercial responsibility for building relationships with an experienced buying team and great account. You’ll work closely with an external retail buyer and internal category and marketing colleagues to ensure excellent execution of planned feature space, promotions and brand activations.

So, what will you be doing? Here’s some of the key accountabilities.

  • Negotiate and implement Joint business plans with the customer.
  • Use data and insight to advise customers on range & merchandising.
  • Evaluate sales reports to identify opportunities within the customer to ensure growth in the market.
  • Collaborate with our Shopper Marketing team to deliver first class brand led activations.
  • Act as an ambassador for HUK in all areas of category and customer contact.
  • Work closely with demand planning to ensure consistent supply of HUK brands to consumers.
