You'll be the go-to person for customers seeking advice, inspiration, and guidance on home improvement projects. You'll gain experience in various tasks, including sales, stock management, setting up displays, and possibly learning specialized skills like paint-mixing and timber cutting. Excellent customer service will be your main focus, and you'll be trained to provide the best experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise customers on home improvement projects, offering expert guidance and inspiration.

  • Assist in sales, managing stock, setting up displays, and ensuring the store remains attractive.

  • Gain training in paint-mixing and timber cutting.

  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.

  • Work as part of a flexible team, adapting to shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Friendly, outgoing, and eager to help others.

  • Interested in learning new skills, including using new technology.

  • Able to work effectively within a team and independently.

  • Flexible to work a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.

  • Passion for home improvement is an advantage.
