An opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join a London based, growing FMCG company on a permanent basis. You will be joining a company whos’ culture emphasises growth, collaboration, and people. This is a hybrid role based in West London with the expectations of 1 days a week in office.
Details of the role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be working within the team as a credit controller. You will be joining at an exciting time as you will be able to influence the processes within the credit control function.
Responsibilities include:
• Creating aged receivables report and escalating aged issues on a weekly basis
• Overseeing the collection of outstanding debt by use of email/statements
• Accurate and swift raising of credit notes and replacement invoices
• Posting and allocating daily bank receipts from customers
• Overseeing the Accounts Receivable inbox
• Overseeing payment queries and client overpayments in an accurate and timely manner
• Ad-hoc duties within the finance department
Skills required:
The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a Credit Control function and would have a FMCG or consumer background. Essentials skills would be excellent Excel skills. Previous experience with SAP would be highly desirable but not essential. Softer skills required would include excellent communication skills and strong organisational skills.
