Credit Controller

Description:

We are looking for a proactive Credit Controller to oversee the credit management process, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships with clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in minimizing financial risk and supporting the financial health of Triple Solar Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Monitor and assess customer credit limits in collaboration with sales and finance teams.

2) Evaluate new customer credit applications and make credit decisions based on established policies.

3) Conduct regular reviews of customer accounts to identify potential credit risks and recommend appropriate actions.

4) Contact customers to discuss and negotiate payment terms, and outstanding invoices, and resolve any issues or disputes.

5) Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, payment agreements, and credit terms.

6) Collaborate with sales teams to ensure a unified approach to credit management and customer relationships.

7) Generate and analyze aging reports, providing regular updates on outstanding receivables.

8) Prepare and send out statements, reminders, and collection letters to customers promptly.

9) Work closely with legal and collection agencies when necessary to recover outstanding debts.

10) Provide regular reports and analysis on credit control performance to the finance manager.

Qualifications:

1) Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

2) Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar financial role.

3) Strong understanding of credit management principles, financial analysis, and risk assessment.

4) Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

5) Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial data management.

6) Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.

7) Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

8) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound judgments.

9) Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
